Work at Height Training
Falls from height are the most common cause of fatal injuries in the workplace; in 2009/10 38 people in Britain died after work-related falls. Work at Height Regulations 2005 place a duty on employers, managers and those with control over others in a workplace where there is a risk of a fall. In addition, they have a legal responsibility to ensure that employees are sufficiently trained to carry out any work.
Rapid Platforms now run the 'Work at Height' half-day training course, which helps organisations to comply with the current regulations and reduce the risk of an accident by educating its employees. The course encourages attendees to consider the risks, plan ahead using risk assessments and follow safe procedures when undertaking work at height.
The course costs £600 for up to 6 candidates (minimum), with an additional £50 per additional candidate up to a maximum of 12.
We train at our modern facilities near Stansted Airport (map link), and can also offer on-site training if the necessary equipment can be provided to run the course.
