training - IPAF MEWP Operators Harness course
If the operator is using a MEWP with a boom, the Risk Assessment should identify the requirement for a harness and suitable lanyard, and the operator needs to have received suitable training.
This course teaches operators how to select, inspect, identify, adjust and fit harness and lanyards, useage, storage and disposal; Thorough Examination requirements, and the theory behind correct equipment selection and use.
Successful candidates will add H for Harness to their PAL cards as proof of training.
The course costs £90.00 per candidate and lasts for approximately 3 hours.
