training - LOAD / UNLOAD COURSE
This IPAF course was introduced in 2007 and covers the loading, safe transportation and unloading of typical MEWP loads.
Entry criteria is that the candidate must be 18 years old, hold an IPAF PAL card and hold a DVLA C or C1 licence.
The course covers basic legislation concerning goods vehicle drivers, accident prevention and control measures, suitable transport vehicles, principles of load ing/unloading and load restraint, hazard identification, load marking and securing. There is a theory test followed by practical training and assessment.
The course lasts for approximately 6 hours and costs £200.00 per candidate, inclusive of registration with PAF and the issue of PAL card and Certificate of Training.
