training - PASMA
Rapid Platforms is an accredited Training Centre for PASMA and offers the basic users course plus all the Advanced Modules, chimney scaffold (module 1), cantilever towers (module 2), bridging units and stagings (module 3), walkthroughs and stairwells (module 4).
The PASMA Low Level Access course and PASMA/ECA Low Level Access course are also available.
Courses are normally held at our Training Centre near Bishop's Stortford (map link) with purpose built classrooms, training areas and tower systems, but can be held on site providing that the same facilities are available together with a bad weather indoor area of approximately 20 x 20 metres with 6.5 metres clear overhead. Tower systems provided by the client must comply with T3 tower component requirements.
Most courses last approximately 7 hours with a morning of theory with written test and the afternoon spent on practical training and assessment. Courses start at £130 per candidate, depending on which module is taken.
Candidates PPE requirements are safety shoes, hi-viz clothing and hard hat with chin strap. Gloves are recommended. (link to Rapidshop)
Detailed joining instructions are sent both to confirm bookings and to advise the candidate on the programme and timings. It is our standard policy to request full payment for courses before the date of training.
