English Heritage - Archer Pavillion

English Heritage needed access to this Grade 1 Listed Building for an architect to inspect the Baroque-style pavilion which was designed by Thomas Archer and dates back to 1711. Access to the pavilion was through a narrow track which restricted the scope to manoeuvre and set up. Access was limited further because the area remained open to general public during the inspection.
With just one day to complete the work, English Heritage entrusted the job to Rapid Platforms. We supplied a 32 metre truck mount, which combines excellent height and outreach with light weight and a relatively short wheelbase. It proved to be the ideal vehicle for the job, and this inspection for one the nation's most architecturally important monuments was completed without a hitch.
