IPAF training course for scissor lifts and boom lifts - IPAF operator level.

IPAF PAL Card

Successful candidates receive an IPAF Powered Access Licence (PAL card) to operate scissor lifts and boom lifts (IPAF categories 3a & 3b). The IPAF operator licence is valid for 5 years from the date of training.

IPAF Training Centre

We are an accredited IPAF Rental + training centre for the International Powered Access Federation. This training course will be held at Rapid Platforms modern training facilities near Stansted Airport.

Rapid Platforms offer on-site training for large groups of trainees, as well as powered access training to IPAF Demonstrator and Instructor levels; please call our Training Department on 01279 501501 for more details on these options.

Course Details

IPAF training courses last approximately 7-8 hours, combining a morning of theory with a written test and an afternoon of practical assessment. Successful candidates are issued with a PAL Card and IPAF Certificate to operate boom type and scissorlift MEWPs.

Full joining instructions will be sent by e-mail before the training date to confirm the programme and timings. Please note. Candidates are required to bring their own PPE including safety shoes, high-visibility jacket, body harness and full adjustable restraint lanyard. Any other items required will be confirmed in the joining instructions.
