Cherry Picker Training - IPAF 1b & 3b

IPAF training course for boom lifts, spider access platforms, truck mounted access platforms and towable cherry pickers - IPAF operator level.

IPAF PAL Card

IPAF training courses last approximately 7-8 hours combining a morning of theory with a written test and an afternoon of practical assessment. Successful candidates receive an IPAF Certificate, Log Book, Safety Guide and IPAF Powered Access Licence (PAL card) to operate Static Boom (IPAF 1b) and Mobile Boom (IPAF 3b) category cherry pickers. The IPAF PAL Card is valid for 5 years from the date of training.

IPAF Training Centre

Rapid Platforms is an accredited IPAF Rental + training centre for the International Powered Access Federation. This operator level IPAF course will be held at our modern training training centre near Stansted Airport. Full joining instructions will be sent by e-mail before the training date. Please note. Training candidates require PPE including safety shoes, high-visibility jacket, body harness and full adjustable restraint lanyard.
