IPAF PAV Training
PAV Course Details
The Push Around Vertical IPAF category covers uncomplicated MEWPs with a powered vertical mast mounted on a non-electric, push-around base. IPAF courses generally last a full day comprising of a morning of theory with written exam and an afternoon of practical assessment.
PAL Cards
Successful candidates receive an IPAF PAL card licence, IPAF certificate, safety guide and IPAF log book. PAL cards are valid for five years from the date of training, allowing the trainee to operate PAV category MEWPs and access platforms.
IPAF Bookings
IPAF courses booked online will be held at Rapid Platforms modern training facilities near Stansted Airport - an accredited IPAF Rental + training centre for the International Powered Access Federation. We regularly run cherry picker training on all categories at Operator, Demonstrator and Instructor level and can also offer on-site training for groups of trainees. Please call our Training Department on 01279 501501 for more details.
Detailed course instructions will be sent by e-mail after booking. Candidates must bring their own PPE including safety shoes and a hi-visibility jacket.
Please note. You do not need to train on the PAV category if your IPAF card already has the IPAF 1a or IPAF 3a category on it; these modules supersede the PAV category.
